Our house

Waldthalerhof lies nestling in the centre of the small village of Montiggl, in a nature conservation area, just a few minutes' walk from the Montiggl lakes. Montiggl am See is an original and lovely village with around 100 inhabitants.
Old farmhouses and estates shape the landscape.

Montiggl lies at 500 metres above sea level and belongs to the district of Eppan on the South Tyrol Wine Road, which has St. Michael as its main town. On the farm itself you'll find 4 apartments for 2, 3 or 4 persons. We have a garden with a wooden terrace, garden furniture, sun umbrellas and a sunbathing lawn that is much appreciated by our guests. Your children are more than welcome to play in the Wendy house or sandpit or go on the swings. In addition, there is a covered terrace with table football for rainy days.

All our guests may access the common room for browsing and playing in and as a meeting place. It features board games, magazines and books, and a folder with lots of great hiking tips.

You are more than welcome to join us for an evening's socialising. We grow our own wine and so keep lots of different types of wine here. Michael, the owner, will be happy to show you our wine cellar. Whether you like red or white wine, full-bodied or light, we'll be happy to advise you.
