Girlan wine cellars

Girlan Winery has been housed in a wine farm typical of the Überetsch area since 1923. And we have supplied our grapes to 'Girlan Winery' for several decades, too. First of all, my grandfather, with with his team of oxen, and then my father. Now we, as one of the 220 members and suppliers to the winery. The traditional walls and the sprawling cellar corridors reveal modern cellar technologies and the ideal storage conditions for our wines. In 2010 the winery was modernised in order to keep up with today's technical requirements.

A new grape pick-up point, a functional pressing room and a new fermentation cellar were finished shortly before the 2010 harvest. Our vintage 2010 grapes could be carefully processed using their own gravity and without the employment of moving machines. The warehouse was extended in order to guarantee ideal storage conditions with the aim of providing customers with wine that is ready to drink.
